The Discovery Kit is built for the moment of meeting a brand for the first time. Our award-winning shower oil and two serum lotions in travel sizes, carried together in a cotton drawstring pouch. Each preparation is identical to its full-size counterpart: the same formulations, the same ingredients, the same chemist-led discipline. The only difference is the volume. Made for travel, made for trying, made for gifting to someone you'd like to introduce to a quieter bath ritual.

The scents are made to layer. Bright citrus and green tea over warm woods in the shower, then a tea accord of bergamot and mugwort that lingers long after you've stepped out. Both are calm and spa-like, never sugary.

Chemist-led. Clean formulation.

Both preparations are formulated by our founder chemist for dry skin, and are sulfate-free, soap-free, paraben-free, phthalate-free and mineral oil-free. Both are built on PENTAVITIN® Moisture Binding Technology, which is clinically studied for supporting the skin's moisture levels for up to 24 hours. The serum lotion adds Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) and seven fruit extracts.

Yes. The shower oil is 100ml and each serum-lotion is 40ml, all within the 100ml limit for liquids on international flights. Pop them in your clear liquids bag at security, then back into the pouch.

Yes. The formulas and ingredients are identical; only the volume is smaller. When you're ready for more, the Bath Ritual Duo brings both in full size.

2. For your face, follow with your usual skincare. Then smooth Skin Elixir Serum Lotion over still-damp skin on your body.
3. Dress, and let the day go.

Yes. Everything comes together in a soft cotton drawstring pouch, easy to reuse for jewellery, makeup or small travel essentials.

Phthalates are sometimes added to perfume to make a scent last longer. On a label they hide inside the single word "Fragrance", so you can't see them. Some phthalates are banned from cosmetics in the EU over concerns about their effects on hormones. We'd rather not leave it to chance, so we ask our fragrance house to leave all phthalates out of every scent we use. Ours still stays with you.

IFRA, the International Fragrance Association, sets the global safety standards for fragrance ingredients: what's allowed, and how much. A product that stays on your skin gets stricter limits than a wash you rinse off. Our fragrance house certifies every Vase Creation scent against these limits for the exact product it goes into.
