Vase Creation Australia is the Australian operating entity of Vase Creation — an award-winning, chemist-led personal care brand founded in 2018. We specialise in clean formulation body care and considered rituals built on functional ingredients. Led by our founding team and formulated under the supervision of our Lead Chemist Charlotte T., our formulations are now available across Australia and dispatched from our base in Perth, Western Australia (ABN 26 461 441 520).

Is Vase Creation an Australian brand?

Vase Creation Australia is a dedicated Australian operating entity, registered in Western Australia (ABN 26 461 441 520) and based in Perth. The brand was founded in 2018 with its laboratory roots in Malaysia, where our GMP-certified manufacturing facility continues to operate. In 2026, we established our Australian presence to serve Australian buyers with locally dispatched orders, AUD pricing inclusive of GST, and full compliance with Australian Consumer Law and the Australian Industrial Chemicals Introduction Scheme (AICIS).

Who founded Vase Creation?

Vase Creation was founded in 2018 by three co-founders who each have lived experience of sensitive, reactive skin. Charlotte T. is our Lead Chemist, responsible for all formulation work. Wendy L. is our Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, leading the brand's strategic direction and international expansion including the Australian launch. Lawrence T. is our Co-Founder for Business Development, leading commercial partnerships and retail strategy. Together, they bring decades of consumer science and personal care industry experience to the brand.

II. Products and Formulations

Are Vase Creation products suitable for dry or sensitive skin?

Our founders don't formulate for a brief — they formulate for themselves first. Every product goes through internal review before it reaches the collection, and anything that doesn't meet our standard is reformulated or cut entirely. We prioritise microbiome-friendly ingredients and exclude harsh sulfates, parabens, phthalates and mineral oil. The Skin Elixir Serum Lotion is dermatologically tested. We recommend a patch test before first use.

What does "chemist-led formulation" mean?

It means every Vase Creation formulation is researched, developed, and signed off by our Lead Chemist personally — not by a marketing team or outsourced to a contract manufacturer working from a trend brief. Every ingredient has a scientific purpose. Every concentration is set for a formulation reason. Chemist-led is a discipline, not a marketing claim.

Are your products vegan and cruelty-free?

Yes. Every Vase Creation formulation is vegan — we use no animal-derived ingredients. We are cruelty-free: we do not test on animals at any stage of our formulation or manufacturing process. This position has not changed since we founded the brand in 2018.

Are your products GMP-certified and AICIS-compliant?

Yes to both. Our formulations are manufactured under Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certification at our facility in Ipoh, Malaysia. Every ingredient in our Australian range complies with the Australian Industrial Chemicals Introduction Scheme (AICIS), which governs the safe use of industrial chemicals in personal care products sold in Australia.

What does "clean formulation" mean at Vase Creation?

For us, clean formulation means complete transparency — about what goes in, what stays out, and why. Every formulation in our Australian collection is free from sulfates, SLS, SLES, parabens, phthalates, and mineral oil. The full INCI ingredient list is printed on every bottle and listed in full on every product page. Clean is a discipline.

How long does each product last with daily use?

Midnight Shikoku Shower Oil 330ml lasts approximately 2 to 3 months with daily use. The 100ml travel size lasts approximately 4 to 6 weeks. Skin Elixir Serum Lotion 200ml lasts approximately 2 to 3 months. The Bio-Fibre Loofah Pad should be replaced every 4 to 6 weeks for hygiene and composted at end of life.

III. Shipping and Delivery

What are the shipping options and costs for Australian orders?

All Australian orders are dispatched from Perth, Western Australia, within 1 to 2 business days via Australia Post.

  • Click & Collect (Perth): Free. Ready within 1-2 business days at our O'connor studio.

  • Standard Shipping: $9 flat rate for all orders under $40.

  • Free Standard Shipping: Complimentary Australia-wide on all orders $40 and above.

  • Free Express Shipping: Complimentary Express Post on all orders $149 and above.

Can I collect my order in Perth?

Yes. We offer free Click and Collect from our Perth studio in O'Connor, Western Australia. Select the pickup option at checkout and we will send you a ready-to-collect notification by email — usually within 1 to 2 business days. Please wait for this email before visiting. Our studio is open Monday to Friday, 11am to 4pm AWST, and is located at 3/125 Garling St, O'Connor WA 6163, Australia.

How long does delivery take across Australia?

Standard delivery from our Perth base typically takes 5 to 8 business days (including order processing). Express Post typically arrives within 3 to 5 business days. These are Australia Post estimates and are not guaranteed. A tracking link is sent to your email as soon as your order is dispatched.

IV. Orders, Payment, and Returns

What currency does au.vasecreation.com use?

All prices on au.vasecreation.com are displayed and processed in Australian Dollars (AUD), inclusive of 10% GST. No currency conversion is required for Australian buyers.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, and Google Pay. All transactions are processed securely through Shopify Payments.

What is your returns policy?

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are protected in full. If a product arrives faulty, damaged in transit, or is not as described, you are entitled to a replacement, refund, or repair regardless of whether it has been opened. For change-of-mind returns on opened personal care products, we are unable to accept returns due to hygiene and safety reasons. Do you offer corporate gifting in Australia?

Yes. We work with Australian companies on corporate gifting, end-of-financial-year gifts, hospitality partner gifts, and wellness gifting for staff and clients.
